We are looking for a Drummer !!!

As some of you might have heared we are looking for somebody to play Drums in Black Everest. 

What you should know about this band is:

- we are based in Hamburg
- we rehearse 1 or 2 times a month

- we have written a bunch of material for an upcoming release
- we wanna play shows and small tours
- blast beats and double bass skills are welcome
- no macho-, rightwing- whatever bullshit

Canceling

With sad temper we have to cancel our appereances at this years Cry Me A River Fest and at the Kielexplode. We still haven't found a new drummer who wants to be part of this band for a longer period. Sorry to Family Ulbrich and everybody at the Kiel Explode. We are deeply sorry.

We are looking for a new drummer

Silence. 

It’s been a while since the last time we released a sign of life. Meanwhile we tried to focus as well as we can on writing the final touches of our long time delayed Album. The album is now almost written, but Dirk left Black Everest for personal reasons. We are sad about his decision and thankful for the shared time, experiences and passion he brought to the table. All we can do is to wish him and his family all the best, thank you Dirk.    

With Dirks departure the rest of us talked about giving up this band or trying to move forward and we all agreed to get this album done and see what the future holds for us. This decision was made in commutation with Dirk. What we need is a new member to fill in the drums. As mentioned above the album is almost written and we want to record it as soon as possible. CMAR was a blast!

Last weekend we played for the third time the CMAR Fest and it was amazing. Words can't describe how thankfull we are to make experiences like this. Thank you Family Ulbrich and every helping hand for seting up a festival which is based on passion, fun, friendship and last but not least music every single year.

We had a wonderful time during our weekendtrip with Red Apollo. Beside all the lovely people showing up on one of the dates, we would like to thank everybody being involved in setting up one of the shows in Cologne, Weimar and Bremen as well as the bands we were able to share this experience; Trapjaw, Crownes & Thieves, Miles & Feet and Kalypso.

Upcoming Weekend

We have three upcoming shows from 6th June to 8th June. We'll share all those dates with our mates in Red Apollo and can't wait to play the new songs. These are our first live-appereances since last years october.  Come around and say hi right here:

Time Goes By ...

and once again we have to realize that we are simply to slow for the shedule we set for this year. Anyway, we finally managed to book some time at the Tonmeisterei in Oldenburg and will enter the studio with the mighty Roland Wiegner (Omega Massif, Tephra, Arktika, Zann etc.) in December 2014. We will record a concept album which will be layed in four tedious chapters. At the moment we are checking some options of possible guestmusicians and finish the songwriting for the last track. Beside this, there will be hopefully a visual backing for our shows which underlines the albumconcept. Informations concerning the concept, lyrics, visuals and other details will be posted asap.

On the following dates we will play two completely new songs we never played before and hope to see you at one of these shows:

06.06. - Köln at Privat + Red Apollo
07.06. - Weimar at Gerber 3 + Red Apollo
08.06. - Bremen at BDP Haus + Red Apollo
27.06. - Versmold at W6 - CMAR Fest / + tons of people and bands we love


We hope to do another row of shows in August with our friends in "Alway Wanted War". Infos to be announced sooner.
