Split LP with Captain, Your Ship Is Sinking

Yep, this July we will start recording four songs for a split LP with our dutch friends in Captain, Your Ship Is Sinking. Some common Shows as well as a Recordreleaseparty should follow and nearer informations will be posted here.

Demo 7inch Vinyl

After months of delays and countless hours of work & travel we are finally at the point to announce that we are going to release our very first recordings. After the idea of put out these 5 songs as a tapeversion, we decided to to switch the format and choose the 7inch-vinyl.
The record shall be ready till this years Cry Me A River Fest, where we'll play at first on the second day of the fest.
The vinyl will be released in a coproducing by some close and friendly diy-labels, more infos will follow soon. We are happy to get these songs finally released.

Who We Are

Black Everest is a four piece band from Berlin, Hamburg and Oldenburg. As you can imagine there are a lot of miles between us. What always gets us back together in one room is our friendship and the shared love & passion for handmade music. You can say the friendship is the engine, the music the gasoline.
We are happy to be part of the diy-community and think that no other space would make sense to place this band. Beside the goals to keep our friendship alive and making music together, we are focused on meeting people, collecting memories of magic moments, seeing places we've never been before and escaping the everyday life.
Our lyrics deal with our view of politics, friendship and social issues. We avoid to describe how we sound like, this should still be up to the listener.
